Starter: Recap (retell your favourite fairy tale story). Which story did you like the best and why?
Main: Create a mind map of ideas for your story – you will be using this as a plan for your writing.
If you find it tricky you can draw pictures for each section and then write key words underneath.
Challenge: Odd one out – Which picture is the odd one and out. If you find it tricky to write a sentence you may tell your grown up verbally. |

Starter: How do fairy tales end?
Main: Today we are going to check our writing and polish what we have.
We need to check that we have used everything on the writing success criteria.
We are now going to make your story into a book! Make sure you have an illustration (picture) on each page and you have made you very own front cover!
