The children enjoyed a fabulous picnic on the field and some wonderfully royal-themed races before and after to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee.  The kitchen provided a picnic lunch for the children - thanks to them, it made everything much simpler.  Staff and children wore red, white and blue and added their own creative touch to their Jubilee outfit if they wished to.  Everyone gathered on the playground to sing the National Anthem after lunch.  It really was a special day.
