We will be going for a local walk in the Reading area. In preparation we are going to be thinking about what we will see and therefore for what to look for. Look out of your window - what can you see? Go into your garden. What can you see? Look in your bedroom what can you see? Draw a map of an area in your home with a basic key to illustrate. Can you give a recount of your walk around your home? Encourage your child to use vocab such as in front of me I see.... behind me I see.... to the left of me I see.... to the right of me I see... Allow your child to explain where they travelled in their home.
