Welcome to week 2 - 1.3.21

 

Can't believe we are now in March. Hopefully that will mean that the weather starts to become much brighter and warmer. Looking forward to seeing you all soon back in school.

 

This week we are continuing with 'The BFG' by Roald Dahl for our English and Reading lessons. In our maths lessons we will start to look at place value again ahead of our return to school next week. 

 

As always here is a quote for this week and it is very apt as you have all tried very hard on what is a tricky, tricky situation. Well done to all of you! 

 

WORLD BOOK DAY 2021

 

This week is going to be a bit different and on Thursday and Friday you will be joining with your normal class group to have some Book Day activities and catch up.

There will be no lessons with me on those days and you will be able to see the rest of your class in the catch up sessions. Invites will be sent out.

On our English page I have set up some activities for Thursday and Friday that you might like to do but your other teachers will be in touch also.

This is your chance to enjoy a book, learn more about an author, dress as a character and just have some book related fun
