Week beginning 28.09.20


This week is all about fronted adverbials and writing a setting description. 

  • Activity 1 - use the fronted adverbial sheet and write 10 sentences using a fronted adverbial. Make sure you put a comma after the fronted adverbial. The PowerPoint will give you more information about what a fronted adverbial is. 
  • Activity 2 - underline all the fronted adverbials you can see in the text. 
  • Activity 3 - read through the setting description of the tree house. Draw what you think it looks like. Label the picture with quotes from the text to explain your picture. 
  • Activity 4 - write your own setting description. Try and use your 5 senses to help you.



Have a look at different packaging of biscuits.

Make a list of what you need to include when you are designing a packet for a biscuit. 


Using the cuboid nets, design a box for the biscuits that you designed last week. Make sure you include everything you need.
