Mrs Doswell will be teaching in class Monday to Wednesday and Miss Bladon will be teaching Wednesday to Friday.

3 Kennet and 3 Loddon will have PE on Thursdays. 

Please come into school in your PE kit.

3 Kennet will have Forest School on a Tuesday. 

3 Loddon will have Forest School on a Wednesday.

Forest School will start week beginning 16th September. 

Please come into school with appropriate clothing. 

Homework

English

Reading to an adult or independently for 20 minutes a day five times a week.

Bonus homework: An adult reads a story to their child and discusses the book.

Please try to read every day as this is the most important thing to help improve your reading and writing.

Maths

By the end of Year 4 the children are expected to know their times tables up to 12 x 12 and be confident using them to solve problems. This means that in Year 3, it is really important to spend time learning times tables at home so that the more difficult tables can be covered next year.

We expect children to be learning which ever times table they do not know at home. The class teachers will let the children know which times table they should focus on each week.
