The children in Key Stage 2 all had the opportunity to apply to take part in the Public Speaking competition at Reading University organised by the Aspire2 charity. Two girls won the internal competition and went forward to present the speeches representing The Ridgeway - Aylya from Year 4 and Tashvi from Year 6.

The children spoke with confidence and showed that they had really considered the task in hand, which was to discuss 'Kindness'. We were thrilled when both girls came second in their key stage heats. The video of each presentation are below.
